Innovation in the Field: Fka Leads the Way in Knowledge-Based Agriculture
Knowledge-based company Fka has taken another significant step toward advancing modern agriculture and improving productivity by hosting a “Field Day” event at its research farm in collaboration with the Isfahan Agricultural and Natural Resources Research Center.

The event was organized with the aim of transferring the latest agricultural knowledge, introducing salt-tolerant barley varieties, promoting demonstration farms, and enhancing farmers’ technical skills. It was attended by a wide range of agricultural specialists, executives, experts, and leading farmers from across Isfahan Province.
During the event, ten newly developed salt-tolerant barley varieties were evaluated. Research findings on the cultivation of these varieties under saline conditions were presented, along with the effects of nutritional treatments—including amino acids and humic acid—on crop performance. Participants also reviewed the adaptability of the varieties to salinity stress and examined how nutrient management influences both the quality and quantity of agricultural production.
The simultaneous organization of the Field Day and a specialized training workshop demonstrated Fka’s systematic approach to integrating research, education, and practical implementation—an approach that has positioned the company among the leading organizations in Iran’s knowledge-based agriculture sector.
The event was attended by Nima Sadeghi, CEO of Fka; senior executives of TADICO Investment Holding; Dr. Torabi, Head of the Isfahan Agricultural Research Center; and a number of experts from the Provincial Agricultural Jihad Organization.
In his remarks, Dr. Sadeghi outlined the company’s future plans, stating:
