FKA Company: Strategic Food Security Hub of Isfahan Province in Livestock and Animal Production
The third meeting of the Isfahan Province Agricultural Research and Education Council (TAT), focused on livestock, animal production, and disease management, was hosted by FKA Knowledge-Based Agriculture and Livestock Company. The specialized session brought together senior executives, provincial officials, and agricultural and livestock experts to discuss key strategies for food security and sustainable development in the sector.

The meeting was attended by the Head of Isfahan Province’s Agricultural Jihad Organization, the Head of the Provincial Veterinary Organization, deputy officials, directors-general, and representatives from the Isfahan Governor’s Office, Chamber of Commerce, and Agricultural Jihad Organization. It was recognized as one of the most important decision-making sessions in the province’s livestock and animal production sector.
Key topics discussed included FKA’s achievements and capabilities as a knowledge-based company, the status and management of foot-and-mouth disease, new research approaches following the removal of subsidized exchange rates for livestock inputs, and an idea-driven carbon sequestration initiative in the livestock sector.
Dr. Nima Sadeghi, CEO of FKA Knowledge-Based Agriculture and Livestock Company, presented a report on the company’s scientific, research, and technological initiatives—particularly in embryo transfer, indigenous breed improvement, and productivity enhancement. He emphasized the vital role of these approaches in strengthening food security, ensuring production sustainability, and reducing national dependency.
Highlighting FKA’s position in the animal production value chain, he stated:
“By leveraging indigenous knowledge, modern technologies, and effective collaboration with scientific and executive institutions, FKA is now recognized as a specialized hub and a model for food security in Isfahan Province’s livestock sector. The company plays an influential role in policymaking, applied research, and sustainable sector development.”
