The press conference of the knowledge-based Feka Agro-Industrial and Livestock Company, centered on the theme of “Practical Application of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Technology and the Development of the Jersey Cattle Breed,” was held at the Isfahan Provincial Press Complex.
The event was attended by Nima Sadeghi Boroujen, CEO of Feka Agro-Industrial and Livestock Company; the CEO of the Isfahan Province Livestock Breeders Union; nutrition experts from the University of Medical Sciences; Ali Eskandari, Public Relations Manager of Tadico Holding; and members of the Isfahan media community.
According to Tadico News:
At the beginning of the conference, Nima Sadeghi Boroujen referred to the 54-year history of Feka Agro-Industrial and Livestock Company, introducing it as one of the oldest and largest livestock breeding centers in Iran. He stated that since its establishment, Feka has maintained a continuous and dynamic presence in the country’s livestock industry and has consistently pursued development and productivity in line with up-to-date scientific knowledge.
Highlighting that the company currently manages more than 14,000 heads of livestock, he added that Feka’s production scale, specialized infrastructure, and skilled human resources have positioned it as one of the major hubs of livestock farming in Iran. However, he emphasized that today, product quality and the adoption of modern technologies to meet the future needs of the livestock industry are of greater importance.
Emphasizing the role of advanced breeding technologies, the CEO noted that Feka is among the pioneers in utilizing In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) technology in the country. This technology enables targeted, scientific, and precise genetic improvement, allowing the company to breed livestock with superior genetics, higher production efficiency, and greater adaptability to environmental conditions.
He further explained the strategic advantages of IVF technology, stating that beyond improving economic efficiency, it plays a significant role in reducing production costs, enhancing animal health, and improving the quality of livestock products, and can be considered one of the key pillars of national food security.
Referring to the development of the Jersey cattle breed at Feka, Sadeghi Boroujen stated that selecting low-input, resilient, and environmentally compatible breeds is one of the company’s core policies. Due to its lower feed consumption, efficient milk production, and reduced environmental impact, the Jersey breed is regarded as a strategic option for sustainable livestock farming, and Feka has placed its development on the agenda with a long-term vision.
During the conference, the Public Relations Manager of Tadico Holding highlighted the organization’s communication strategy, stating that the public relations programs of Tadico Holding and Feka Company focus on constructive and continuous engagement with the media to introduce the capacities, capabilities, and achievements of this major livestock enterprise nationwide. He emphasized the crucial role of the media in explaining the realities of the livestock industry and raising public awareness.
Additionally, the CEO of the Isfahan Province Livestock Breeders Union and nutrition experts from Isfahan University of Medical Sciences underscored the importance of scientific livestock farming, emphasizing the role of producing healthy food products, improving societal nutrition patterns, and their direct connection to public health and national food security.
In closing, the CEO of Feka Agro-Industrial and Livestock Company reiterated the company’s knowledge-based approach, stating that the future of Iran’s livestock industry depends on the integration of science, technology, and production. He affirmed that Feka aims to play an effective role in advancing the livestock industry, achieving sustainable productivity, and preserving natural resources through reliance on up-to-date knowledge, scientific collaboration, and effective media engagement.
