Governor of Hamedan Visits Tadico’s 6,000-Head Industrial Dairy Project in Malayer

Hamedan Governor Hamid Melanouri Shamsi visited Tadico Holding’s 6,000-head industrial dairy farm project in Malayer, where more than 2,000 billion rials have been invested to date. He emphasized the need for the project’s swift completion.
According to Tadico,
the governor expressed satisfaction with the significant progress of the construction over the past two years and praised Tadico Holding for its major investment. He called on Shasta and Tadico to provide the necessary funding to complete and launch the project, while stressing that the provincial government will use all available resources to accelerate its operation.
The visit was also attended by the Head of Hamedan Agricultural Jihad Organization and Malayer’s representative in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, who highlighted the remarkable progress made since the project was reactivated after a long period of stagnation. They pledged to help resolve remaining challenges, including electricity supply and financing.
Meysam Amirhosseini, CEO of Malardshir Company (a subsidiary of Tadico Holding), stated that since 2023, the first phase of earthworks and the construction of 35,000 square meters of sheds have been completed. He noted that more than 2,000 billion rials have already been invested in the project.
Amirhosseini pointed to the main challenges hindering the project’s completion, including the lack of fixed-capital financing, and called for further support. He also mentioned the need to strengthen the local power grid to provide the required one-megawatt electricity capacity for the farm.
This mega-project, one of the largest livestock initiatives in western Iran, is expected to produce 65,000 tons of raw milk annually upon completion. It will also generate over 400 sustainable direct and indirect job opportunities, playing a significant role in the economic development of Malayer and the Hamedan province.
