Feka Company, a Pioneer in Advanced Livestock Science Research with a Focus on Food Security and the Preservation of Indigenous Breeds
On the occasion of Research and Technology Week, the knowledge-based Feka Agro-Industrial and Livestock Company signed a joint research agreement with the Animal Science Research Institute of Iran, aiming to expand scientific and specialized cooperation. The agreement covers technical and developmental fields, livestock nutrition, and the breeding and genetic improvement of large livestock, with the objective of increasing productivity, enhancing national production, and strengthening the country’s livestock infrastructure.
According to TADICO,
this agreement was concluded with an emphasis on maximizing the use of the country’s scientific and research capacities and developing advanced technologies in animal sciences, particularly in the field of large livestock breeding and the improvement of both quantitative and qualitative production indicators.
The signing ceremony was attended by deputies of the Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Organization, the Head of the Iranian Nomadic Affairs Organization, and senior managers of the Animal Science Research Institute of Iran. During the event, participants highlighted the importance of synergy between executive and production sectors and scientific and research centers in achieving the macro-level goals of the country’s agriculture and livestock sectors.
During the meeting, the knowledge-based Feka Agro-Industrial and Livestock Company was honored with a certificate of appreciation in recognition of its valuable efforts, effective role, and constructive participation in advancing scientific, technological, and developmental objectives in the fields of livestock farming and large livestock breeding in Iran.
Dr. Nima Sadeghi, CEO of Feka Agro-Industrial and Livestock Company, described applied research in advanced animal science technologies and livestock breeding as among the company’s most important development programs, stating:
